Cluttered Box

My Mid-Year Resolutions

The fact that July is already here blows my mind. This year has gone by so fast! Before you know it, 2013 will bite the dust and we’ll be full speed ahead into 2014. For that reason, and the fact that I haven’t achieved some of my 2012 resolutions, I am making 5 new mid-year resolutions. Hopefully, I will have achieved this by December:

1. Get ahead of myself in terms of my blog – so I can post something everyday

2. Stop biting my nails – for good!

3. Catch up with How I Met your Mother (I stopped watching it after season 6)

4. Finish The Lost Symbol because I do love Dan Brown

5. Tweet more often – because I truly do love Twitter!

Because no one can really be perfect!

Do you have any mid-year resolutions for 2013? Try to keep them short and sweet, because you only have 6 months to achieve them! 🙂

  1. I like the idea of a mid-year evaluation of the resolutions. My intentions got blown to smithereens by a collision with Life this past month. So now my resolution is to take one day at a time, focus on what I can do today, and then wake up and repeat. Sometimes life doesn’t allow for much planning, just doing the best we can with each day.

    • That is a great resolution Julie – by taking one day at a time, you are able to take advantage of every single moment, rather than cluttering thoughts with the worries of tomorrow. I could not agree with you more, planning proves to be quite useless at times because you never know what the next moment will bring.

  2. Hmmm…mid year resolutions would be to take each day as it comes and stop planning so ahead in the future, I tend to do that a lot and then get disheartened if things dont work oit as per my “plans”. Gotta stop doing that amd smile more
