Point me in the Right Direction

The new trend has all the celebrities on point – with the “point-iness” being integrated into different accessories to keep in step with this fashion. Here’s a look at this trend for Autumn 2012:

Pointy Nails: This trend has been spreading amongst celebrities like wildfire, being most popular with songstress’s across the globe. To keep in line with this trend, file your nails towards the centre of each nail, creating a fine point that smooths over to your finger nail. Once you have filed, apply a nice bright colour on your nail to keep in line with the block colours trend of summer 2012.

Pointy nails are being seen on celebrities such as Katy Perry (pictured above), Fergie, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Lana Del Rey.

Pointy Shoes: This trend has risen from its ashes like a phoenix, fiercely taking over the fashion world. The simple round toe heels may rest in peace as point-toe heels are seen strutted across catwalks in a number of fashion shoes.

With Kim Kardashian (pictured above) considered to be the patron of this trend, it has been seen popular with celebrities such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Rachel McAdams and J.Lo.

Sunglasses: With the trend of Ray Ban Wayfarers being instigated in 2011, this year will see this pointy fashion sported on most famous faces. The unisex appeal of these glasses make them a must-have accessory this year!

The ultimate summer accessory are sunglasses have been seen on super model Miranda Kerr (above), as well as other celebrities including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Justin Timberlake.

Point in that direction…

So it is official, the pointy fashion is the “it” thing for this season. Whether you follow it with your nails, sunglasses or shoes, make sure that you are pointed in the right direction this fall!
